Swann Smith

I'm a New York City based artist who enjoys telling visual stories. You will often find my artwork populated by characters and objects inspired by fantasy, mythology, or history. The realistic style you see in my artwork has been built upon years of studying classical masters. While I used to create art with traditional art materials, I recently transitioned to drawing and painting digitally with a stylus upon a Wacom pen tablet. Since graduating from Brooklyn's Pratt Institute (BFA Communication Design/Illustration, 1989), I have worked for more than twenty years as a graphic designer and I am probably best known as the illustrator of the "Bestiary" for MTV's Teen Wolf.
